Temp settings have to be higher than my previous gas range, and the oven appears to need a few more minutes to reach the same level of "cooked" compared to gas. Overall, decent range for the price but nothing spectacular.

I would like to start by saying that I understand that this is a base model and I probably should have purchased a more expensive one. However, regarding this model, if you use the oven, the stove itself is VERY loud. I thought the thing was going to blow up! That and when I used it for the first time it started smoking and smelled like something was burning. I stopped using it right away and called the store who in turn had me call some other third party. Eventually I was speaking with Frigidaire and they told me everything was normal and that's what these stoves do. Seriously? They smell like plastic is burning, smoke comes out of it and it sounds horrible? To this day the stove is still loud and it smells like burning plastic a little, truly gives a new flavor to some of the food I'm cooking. But...this is normal according to Frigidaire.

The oven has a bad chemical smell. I™™ve done the ™burn in™ process because it™™s a new oven. However, we™™re going on 3 weeks and it still smells awful. It runs really hot as well. I™™m calling an appliance repair man to come look it over because I just don™™t trust it at this point. The foil on a covered dish run at 400 degree for 35 minutes had black marks on it as if the foil was starting to burn. The rack was in the middle not up close to the coil looking part and it was renolds brand foil so not crappy foil. I realize the oven is new but it™™s not the first thing that looked burnt coming out of that oven. I just have that gut feeling something is not right with it. It is pretty but I™™m too scared of it at this point and may just replace it.

The refrigerator started a LOUD buzzing noise which lasted 2-3 sec every 4-5 hours. We turned off ice maker and it stopped. The dials on the range are very sensitive and turn in easily-dangerous for kids

We held out on buying a new range for a year and a half now because our old Frigidaire oven stopped heating. We waited for a good sale to finally pull the trigger and I knew I wanted the electric range with the front controls because of it's sleek look. We also remodeled our kitchen with a new backsplash, so not having the controls on the back has really opened up our kitchen and reveals the beautiful back splash! We have had the new range for a few weeks now and it works great! Love having a working oven again. We are expecting a baby in January, so we will eventually need to put the child proof locks on the front controls because they are a hazard for small children. We love it!

Just bought this for our beach home and overall I love it, looks fantastic.. only 1 downfall so far.. we discovered if we lean on the controls the burners will come on.. this was a little scary to learn so we ordered safety tabs to put on the knobs,now we feel Safe. I would definitely recommend this range.

We bought this when we bought a new house. We purchased all new frigidaire appliances. I wanted a glass top stove because it looked clean. It only looks clean if you clean it after EVERY use. The burners are laid out weird and are awkward. You have to reach over large burners to use the smaller ones. I understand having a large one in the front, but also a smaller burner too. My pans slide all over the place. You can™™t stir anything without holding the handle. I thought that the built in exhaust was the exhaust for the entire stove and oven, but it™™s only when the oven is in use and you can™™t turn it off on your own. It takes forever for the cooktop to cool off. I wouldn™™t recommend this product to anyone. When don™™t have natural gas running to our house so a gas stove wasn™™t an option. But I should have bought a traditional coil burner stove instead of this one.

Right out of the box, first thing I wanted to do was set the clock pushed the clock key and then the up arrow key nothing happened, then the F11 came into view. Read the instruction manual it said to cut the power to reset, tried again to set the time, F11 error with a beeping sound. I Contacted customer service and they have scheduled a repairman for next week. I am not happy.

Fan takes forever to turn off after having oven in plus fan is extra loud. It seems long time to heat up. I liked my previous whirlpool model better. This was installed by builder. I probably would have chosen a different oven.range.

I love everything about this range with the exception of the self cleaning function. It appears that while it cleans the inside of the oven it Does Not clean the Glass inside the oven. So If you don't clean it before using that function it gets really baked on while it cleans, leaving you with a real mess to deal with afterwards.

Fan noise upon starting and continues even after turning off for cool down. Even though told this is normal it will take some getting use to. Repairman (although brand new) tightened up backing and leveled which made noise less.

I™™ve had this range for less than 2 years. I am really careful with putting my pots and pans on the stove, but still had a crack in the glass that needed to be replaced. My oven does not cook evenly AT ALL and it™™s pretty noisy.

I love the look of my oven and it cooks very evenly. BUT, once the fan kicks in it rattles like something is loose. It's very loud and obnoxious. I have tried everything to figure out what is loose, but cannot find the problem.

I read some reviews that were less than favorable. You really have to use the glass top cleaner as directed, and turn on the oven for a short period before using. It fits perfectly, looks beautiful and cooks well. I love the extra space for cooking and quick boil. Things cook evenly now in my 12 inch cookpan.

Upgraded appliance w/ kitchen remodel. Stainless steel look better than I could have imagined. Love the knobs on front because I am under 5 ft and cannot reach back of unit when burners in use.Also love the extra safety features of an extra click to turn off and the red light to remind of hot surface as it cools down when burner off.

I am visually challenged and having front controls is an absolute MUST. The stove is beautiful. This things cooks really fast. To bring water to a boil after adding ingredients, you'll only need to keep at #2 on the knob. I am also glad that it's self cleaning as opposed to the "Aqua Lift" option which my past two ovens had and did not really do the trick. Thank you Frigidaire !
