This unit worked amazingly. Until it didn't. I do expect that a freezer should last more than a few years and am disappointed in the short life span for this freezer.

This freezer lasted 1 and 1/2 years. paid sears repairman 119.00 and he said it was 680. 00 dollars to replace compressor. So sad this freezer is made of poor QUALITY Parts. NEVER WILL BUY ANOTHER FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCT.

Bought this upright freezer back in September of 2017. It has been cared for during this whole time and it just quit and I lost all the food in it. They really don't build them like they used to. I mean, less than 3 years and it is dead. I will never buy Frigidaire products again. Their dishwasher died in under 3 years also. Don't buy this even if it's cheap. Buy a better brand freezer.

I purchased this freezer about 2 months ago and it has outperformed all of our expectations. It provides more than enough space to store things where they are easily seen and arranged. Initially, I though the physical size would be too large for my garage space, but it fits very well right beside my door, making it very easy to grab frozen goods in a moments notice. Our two growing boys especially love the fact that we can keep extra ice cream on hand. All in all, this is a great product that I have no idea how we made it this long without having it. I recommend that all families purchase a freezer of some type. You won't regret it.

The door Seal is leaking at the top and the ice builds up at the top of the door and the inside of the freezer. I have a repair technician scheduled to fix it under warranty but they have rescheduled four times and the problem is getting worse. When I called Fridgedair to report the issue, I purchased a five year extended warranty, and now I wonder if this is the service that I can expect from them for what is now a SIX YEAR WARRANTY.

We bought this freezer in October 2017, now in April 2020, it suddenly stopped working. The freezer has been stored in our basement and not exposed to any extreme temperatures. We do not know what caused it to suddenly stop working. We will never buy a Frigidaire product again. Unless you want a "disposable freezer" that only works for 2 and 1/2 years, we would not recommend this.

I came home after working away for 7 weeks only to find my old freezer had stopped working. Thankfully it was only a day or two since it had given up the ghost and my food (I have almost 2 elk in my old freezer) wasn't thawed yet. I was alarmed and started looking for a used freezer. None available, so I went to my local Lowe™€™s. All their inventory was gone to include floor models! I had no idea people were freaking out due to this virus like this. I explained my situation, that I wasn™€™t just some moron freaking out all the sudden, that I had lots of meat that needed to be kept frozen. They worked hard and called around and found me this freezer that had just arrived and wasn™€™t even showing on inventory yet. I immediately drove there to make the purchase, but I was told I had to take it with me right away. Thankfully I drive a big truck and could slide this monster into the bed. Honestly I had no idea what freezer I was lucky enough to buy until I got it unboxed at home. I was thrilled to see this model! After the required settling period I plugged it in and let it cool down. Then the filling began. Two giant coolers full of meat and I still have more room for next hunting season!! This thing is massive and will hold it all.

AND because it is new, I am sure the electricity usage will be a lot lower than my old one. My only complaint is, the temp control is on the back wall. I couldn't find it! I contacted customer service and they quickly responded and told me where it was. It was hidden behind the ham I had placed in the freezer! Very roomy!

I bought this 7 months ago, and so far, it's working well. No frost, no failures, and it's pretty quiet. It was the biggest that I could fit down my narrow stairwell, and the delivery team did well in getting it in undamaged. They even helped me move my old one out and place it where I needed it. We purchased this upright freezer from a major retailer. It has taken the place of our 14 cu ft chest freezer. We love that all of our food is easier to find and get to. There is so much room on the shelves and in the two included basket drawers. There is a lot of room in the door itself as well with all of the shelf railings to contain items. It's nice that this one has an interior light as well as a locking door, that will help keep my sweet five year old autistic granddaughter from opening and closing the door all the time. This model has been perfect for our family and we look forward to many years of use from it.

Got cold real quick. No problem getting below 0 degrees fast. It also has a vacuum when closing the door so it seals the door fantastically. It is also very quiet. Once is gets down to the right temperature it turns off and doesn't run again until it needs to. I am very happy with the freezer so far, but I would have prefered a pebble grain finish rather than smooth.

I bought this freezer over a month ago and it is working great. We used to have a frost upright freezer, but wanted a white, frost-free freezer instead. The types of foods we freeze do not need the frost kind of freezer. This one has a lot of room; more than our 20 CF frost freezer did. The door holds the smaller items that I like to have easily accessible; and the bottom pull-out basket is great for all the "extra" stuff. I love how bright it is when I open the door! My only concern was that it was a bit loud when we first got it. I asked the salesperson at Lowes about this. Brand new freezers do this at first (I had never owned a brand new one before). He said after a short amount of time, it will wear in and not be as loud. I hardly notice it anymore. It has become much quieter. I LOVE THIS FREEZER!!.

It is a good freezer but I have one concern. The fan runs for hours and hours every day. This can't be good for the energy efficiency of the product, which was one of the selling points for buying the freezer. I called tech support and they told me that the fan keeps the cooling unit from overheating. Not sure I agree with that diagnosis. The freezer is in a 40 degree garage.
