We do a lot of cooking in our family. We have had this range for almost a year and I absolutely love it! The quick boil burner works fabulously and saves so much time. The oven and broiler heat quickly, reach and accurate temperature and cook evenly. The heat from the oven is self-contained and doesn't cause our kitchen to become sweltering. This is a great investment for any kitchen.

Best Gas Range Ever

My 30" Frigidaire Gas Range exceeded all my expectations. You never have to worry about something being over baked or under cooked. The timer and oven temperature control work perfectly. There is no uneven baking; everything, including cookies and cakes cook uniformly. Another amazing feature is that the heat remains contained. I was hesitant to bake cookies in the summer because my old range emitted so much heat that the a/c worked overtime, but with my Frigidaire Freestanding Gas Range, the heat remains contained and no worrying about over heating the kitchen. The oven broiler works perfect with a high or low setting. The oven door stays ajar wherever you place it, and the light comes on automatically when you open it without putting the switch on, and turns off when you shut the door. However, if you decide to put the light switch on, you can clearly watch your delicious food while it's cooking through the oven door. The oven surface can be easily cleaned by just wiping it down. and the burners work efficiently to either heat up or simmer your food. The only negative comment I could make is that I didn't purchase it sooner. Don't wait until your oven breaks down, buy yours now.

I received my oven as a Christmas gift in December of 2016. I have used it everyday for baking and cooking, to an excess even. I have had no issues whatsoever with it. These are some of the features that I love about my new oven...1) The oven comes up to my desired temperature quickly. 2) The stovetop burners light quickly and allow for precise temperature control.3) I love that when I open the oven door the oven light automatically comes on. 4) The oven door doesn't just fall down on it's own...it maintains whatever position I set it in.5) The control panel is easy to operate and nicely illuminated.6) The glass oven window is one where I can actually see my items baking (with the help of switching on the manual light switch on top of the oven), without having to actually open the oven door.7) The timer keeps beeping at intervals to let me know my baked item is done (great for when I get distracted or for when I am in another part of the house).No complaints, no problems, no worries. It's perfect for me.

We recently had to replace our 6 y.o. gas range from another manufacturer after the circuit board failed twice. We did replace it the first time but not the second as a replacement would have been $200. This Frigidaire gas range was cheaper than the one we were replacing. It has been a welcome addition to our kitchen. The burners light quickly each time. I love the quick boil and simmer ones! The oven preheats quickly. So glad that we have this range.

Black Finish is Coming Off

I bought this range from Lowe's on 7/4/16 and have been using it daily since. Nice looking, good price and I was happy with it, except about a month ago I noticed a mark along the side (where the stove meets the counter top.) I at first thought it was a piece of food, but after trying to remove it, I realized that the black finish had come off. It wasn't in a highly conspicuous area, so I figured I'd live with it, but my happiness was a bit compromised. Then about a month later, I was canning and while wiping up the top of the stove I noticed a dime size area with some of finish off, which wasn't there when I started (see pictures.) I never dropped anything, which is obvious because it's not a dent, all I did was cook on it! It is in a highly visible area and I am not happy, thus the poor rating. I haven't contacted Frigidaire yet, but I am hoping they will stand by their product and I can report back with satisfactory results.
