Not good quality. Get something else

I have had this unit since late 2016. The quality is not good at all. The knobs are cheap and flimsy. I have had to replace three of the at a very high price. Even worse is that the printed text for the controls started to fade away years ago and today there is nothing left I cant believe how they could have decided to use a cheap print instead of etching etc. Does not take much of an engineer to figure out that will not be OK in the long run Again Im very disappointed and must bow look for a new appliance. As Im sure LG will not pay attention to this so I will not look at them when buying an appliance in the future

Terrible quality-Dont do it

Knobs start breaking after a short time of use and to replace them costs almost as much as the stovetop itself and company will do nothing for you. DONT buycheap plastic knobs your company should be ASHAMED at yourselves for ripping people off after they spend so much money on your appliances. Also black stainless steel is peeling on the front of dishwasher. I do not have small children so products are not being abused.

LG allows unsafe condition to exist..

Your LG LCG3011ST gas cooktop has a safety and design flaw. The plastic inserts that LG uses on the control knobs is a safety and fire hazard. The plastic inserts crack and break apart. After they crack and break a user has no idea what position the gas valve is. This is a safety and fire hazard. By the sheer number of bad reviews concerning the faulty knobs it is apparent LG does not intend to back its product until someones home catches fire because of the condition is allowed to exist and someone gets hurt because of this safety condition that LG approves of.

LG terrible design of cooktop knobs

Your LG LCG3011 is a good gas cooktop BUT your design of the plastic knobs is terrible. They continue to break because of the plastic knob bases. I am tires of replacing the knobs at $50 apiece. I would not recommend this product to a friend due to the terrible knob design.

Remodeled kitchen was excited for this cooktop. The numbers wore off right after warranty. I called LG. They told me sorry. They sent me knew knobs Didnt care that numbers wore off which I feel is a safety hazard Dont buy this

Scratches easily grates cant come clean

While I love the gas cooking I am very disappointed with the exterior quality. 1 The plastic knobs scratch easily and one is stuck on and we cant remove it. 2 The black stainless steel surface scratches VERY easily even in the bottom part of the tray where no pots or utensils are used. It is especially bad around the edges. Weve only had this stovetop for 2-3 years and it looks at least 10 tears old. 3The cast iron grates are impossible to clean even after putting in the dishwasher. Th stove works great - its the exterior that needs some work.

Lg cooktop is the worst . Lg customer service is horrible. They wont work with customers. My decals wore off. I called the CS rep told me he would replace them along with the knobs I thought wonderful We received knobs only When contacted back they said sorry we dont replace decals if out of warranty even though its a safety hazard. They are rude. Dont deserve any stars

Cooktop with a great layout

We are enjoying our new LG gas cooktop. It is a 5-burner unit with controls centered in front. This allows plenty of space for the burners and easy access to the controls. The cooktop is quite shallow and we were able to put in an additiona drawer below it for flat utensils. The burners light quickly and burn smoothly and efficiently.

Always wanted a gas stove

We bought this when doing our full-gut kitchen remodel. I wanted a gas cooktop--I had been using electric cooktops for the 32 years we lived in our house. It is great It is easy to light burners it is easy to control the heat and our overhead fan unit takes out any odors or gas aromas. Unfortunately it is not as easy to clean as my old cooktop was. There are curves and edges that require a little more effort. The stainless steel under the grates needs to be buffed to really shine but this is just an inconvenience that I wasnt thinking of when I chose the appliance.

I love the cooktop It is easy to use and easy to clean. I wish I had a Griddle for searer for the top to cook steaks etc. Also I dont know how to take the Knobs off to clean under them. Otherwise it is AMAZING
