Had dishwasher for a little over 3 years and motor and control board went out. Only advice was to give me a 15 discount on a replacement are send me a replacement part for motor which was reasonable although with labor would cost me over $600 to fix. Do not buy.

Pump dies quickly

Pump started dying after less than 3 years. I ran it to failure for about another 9 months with it screaming like a dying dinosaur every run. The 10 year warranty is a joke and meant only for you to think its built tough enough last more then 10 years. Youd end up paying twice as much to get a warrantied pump in service calls and wait way longer than just buying a pump and doing it yourself.

Great features just a couple problems

I bought the dishwasher about 2 1/2 years ago. My wife loves it But we already had a couple problems with it. luckily I paid like $400 to have the extended warranty for all my LG appliances

Worked just fine for two years then the pump goes out. MANY people have had this same issue. The part is $200 and if you dont want to fix it yourself you are already in the strata of buying another dishwasher.

I have had nothing but problems with my new Nov. 2022 LG Dishwasher. I kept thinking it was something that I was doing. I finally got tired of the problems not draining not finishing a cycle not drying stopping in the middle of a cycle and called for repair. My dishwasher needed a new control panel and now that it has been replaced the dishwasher runs like a dream. So thankful for the LG 1 year warranty. LG really did show up and take care of me. Thank you
