Failed after 2 years

At the beginning it was working perfectly. We maintained the machine and used top quality detergents and monthly cleaning tablets. After two year the machine failed and the motor made very loud noise and it had to be replaced. Unfortunately I had to pay for labor while the part was under warranty by LG.

Overall we like the dishwasher it looks nice and cleans well. We have had it for about 5 years and have already replaced the wash pump. The upper rack is rusting through in several places. We got the stainless interior because we wanted it to last. Why cant the racks be made of stainless wire too? The replacement is $200. Not happy about this.

Very disappointed in LG

Its broken and you want $300 in labor just to show up even though they say parts are under warranty. Sounds like a great way to not back your product. The machine is not old. I dont know what I am going to do. It is probably a simple fix but I will never know.

Broke - immediately after warranty

Almost like clockwork immediately after the warranty ended. The steam function stopped working and started leaking all over the kitchen floor. Despite following all of the guidelines on use cleaning detergent type etc.. this thing doesnt clean for crap some of my dishes actually come out dirtier than when they went in It cleans worse than the $200 dishwasher it replaced. I cannot believe I spent over $1000 on this high end dishwasher. I regret going all LG for my appliances lesson learned.

I bought this dishwasher to not have any issues and have clean dishes. Less than 3 years of use the LE code showed on the display. The motor with a 10 year manufacturer warranty is seized so now i have a $1200 paper weight. Since it did not break within a year they are charging me to replace the motor. Save your money and buy a different dishwasher.

It was working ok for 3 years and a half before it dropped working. I was expecting to work for longer time before I can do any maintenance on it. The motor was the issue and the service company that you provided me with ae was terrible. I couldnt get hold of anyone I end up replacing the motor myself.
