All of the bells and whistles

I bought this a year ago and overall I absolutely love it It have all of the bells and whistles I wanted. It is large and does everything. I have only had a couple of ice issues with the baller ice maker in the lower freezer. When trying to get it repaired/replaced it took a couple of hours online with live chat. I couldnt get a live person on the phone for weeks. I love the fridge and would buy it again

Weve had this refrigerator for a little over 2 years. We just had a major repair done already. And the ice maker is very small and has had a few issues as well. We have also heard from different repair people that this model has a lot of issues. I would not buy it again.

I have this refrigerator 2 or 3 years ago and was happy with it except the ice maker. It has given us a problem for more than a year now. We purchased 5 years warranty and thank goodness we bought it. From time to time we found puddles of water in the morning from the ice maker and we have compressor replace due to the temperature not producing ice and after the replacement 2 weeks ago it still not making ice. I would like the ceo of LG to own this refrigerator and May be its ok to the ceo but not to me.

Great Features with okay reliability

I bought this thinking this is the fridge Ive waited for. Its been mostly good. Weve had a couple of issues like the cooling fan detaching and causing overheating a broken lower ice maker and a couple of other annoyances. I would still buy this fridge again but it hasnt been the rock solid machine I would expect at its price point. This is a very expensive fridge. I can put a large pizza box in it I do love my craft ice as a avid whiskey/bourbon drinker... but the air filters and water filters should last longer. There are definitely some warm zone issues especially when theres a lot of heat/humidity going on.

I have owned this refrigerator for over a year. While the size is adequate and the features are great I am concerned about the reliability of this product. I have had problems with the craft ice maker twice. Luckily LG sent me a replacement ice maker which was fairly easy to install. With the new ice maker installed my satisfaction has increased.

When the refrigerator is working it is great but the craft ice stopped working for a week then worked so okay we just didnt have ice for a bit. Then all of a sudden no regular or craft ice. Not even a full year into having a refrigerator. The nice thing is that the app did tell me it wasnt working and kickstarted the fix process.

The best thing ever I got this year. Pre measured water saves the hassle of filling a measuring cup. Craft ice is wonderful and fits most workout water bottles. Door in door filled with items you frequently use saves so much time and energy.

It looks nice but the ice bin is very small. The craft ice stopped working after about 18 months. The top freezer drawer fan stopped working after 24 months. Im finding the freezer fans are out of stock most places. This tells me everyone is having the same problem. Manufacture defect just like the ice makers. Not impressed with the quality. We had the previous fridge for about 16 years before its first problem.

This fridge is amazing. Big enough to store entire super large pizza boxes and you barely even lose room. Dual ice makers one for regular cubes and one for craft ice perfect for drinks or thermal cups. Filters are both easy to replace every 6 months. Couldnt have asked for a better fridge. Little pricey but we got a good deal around the Fourth of July a few years back. Not a single issue with anything after theee years. Would definitely recommend I love LG products we use their turbo washer and dryer as well. Still never a single problem.

Good fridge for a big busy family

This has been a good refrigerator for our family of five who has different diets and busy schedules. The freezer is a drawer. Ive had bottom freezers with a door before and I prefer those. With the drawer it is hard to store foods so that they are easy to get to. The bottom drawer is deep and items at the bottom tend to get lost. The top pull out drawer isnt nearly as deep so I can store items in a single layer. I need to keep everything away from the craft ice maker tray though because if it gets jostled ice balls wont be made. The craft ice maker makes 3 balls at a time and will drop them into the tray when frozen. We are on our third craft ice maker because the first two broke. They were covered under warranty and the lasted one has some improvements and will hopefully last better. The freezer keeps the temperature cold and everything stays frozen well. The middle drawer can be used as another freezer or as a cold fridge door. I love having this option. It was a big selling point in choosing this model. I mostly use it as a deli drawer keeping meats and cheeses at cold refrigerator temperatures. The drawer pulls open smoothly and has two dividers that can be adjusted for three separate spaces. The fridge has a large capacity. I can fit gallon and two liter jugs in the door on the right. It has a window to see whats inside that area. Knocking on the window will turn on an interior light for a few seconds to get a better look. The other door has racks for smaller items such as condiments. That door also has the water and ice dispenser. A button on the outside is easily touched to choose cubed or crushed ice or water. Instructions say not to continually use crushed ice as it can get stuck and block the opening. We use cubed ice with water most of the time and crushed ice for smoothies or if we need ice in a bag to nurse an injury. Water comes out of the dispenser slightly cool close to room temperature. Water and air filters need to be changed every six months and a notice will light up on the door when it is time to do so. Ice cube production can also be increased by selecting the max ice option on the door. It will make more ice cubes for up to 24 hours than the unit normally makes. The rest of the fridges interior stays cold and keeps food fresh. The two produce drawers are deep and hold a lot. Unfortunately my kitchen is set up to have the fridge right next to the wall. I can only open one door to a 90 degree angle which is not far enough to open that sides produce drawer all the way. It makes it a littler harder to get to things and to clean the drawer. The four shelves in the fridge can be adjusted as you like by moving them to different heights. One of these shelves can be collapsed to half its depth. This is good for taller bottles to stand upright inside the fridge. Its where I will store an open bottle of wine when I have that didnt get consumed. The back part of the shelf can still be used for other items. The fridge makes a chime if a door has been open too long five minutes I believe so that you know if it wasnt properly closed. For the most part the refrigerator is easy to clean on the inside and the outside. The hard water we have tends to build up on the water dispenser and requires a bit of scrubbing. Overall I am pleased with this LG fridge and its features. I would certainly buy it again if I needed another.

We were in the market for a new fridge last December. Found this one and loved all the features. The craft ice maker has been a huge hit. The bottom freezer is very spacious. We use the middle drawers as extra fridge space for meat and cheeses. We lost water for a few hours - I received a call/text from LG asking if we needed assistance for repair. No issues but very cool that they detected something wasnt right.
