Looks nice but terrible reliability.

Beautiful style loaded with features. But it failed several times. First it has a seal problem that let steam out near the control panel. Replaced under warranty. Then after warranty expired another seal leaked. We replaced it at our own expense. Finally the door latch and hinges have started to fail. It leaks and wont complete the wash cycle. All due to the leaky seals which had all started failing in the first 2 years. So we should have received a new dishwasher. Instead were just past 5 years and already have a dead product. Very disappointed in LG. Id give it 1 star but it did look nice so 2 stars.

Doesnt Last

Bought this dishwasher in June 2019 and had it professionally installed. In 2024 both the bottom and middle racks were rusting and disintegrating. We have a water softener so water hardness is not the problem. Most of the LED lights on the display have also worn out and cycle time vs. cycle end is not legible anymore. Pretty disappointed in the longevity and quality of this product over the span of 6 years for the price we paid. In addition this dishwasher uses A TON of rinse aid. If we dont fill the rinse aid every single wash cycle I get a notification on the app that its low the rinse aid reservoir is basically empty after a single wash cycle. The only redeeming quality of this dishwasher is the upper 3rd rack which is great for large utensils small dip containers extra silverware etc.

Started leaking after 4 years

The display stopped working a few months into installing it and lg did not want to fix it but that isnt the worst part. It stopped completing the wash cycle and started showing different error codes after 4 years . None of the fixes customer service gave us over the phone worked so we prepaid $400 for a LG technician to come out to repair it. He showed up and ran some kind of test and all the sudden a new error code showed up that the dishwasher was now leaking. He basically told us that he could order parts but it will probably not fix it. 4 years for a top of the line dishwasher is not a long time to malfunction. I would not recommend the dishwasher nor LG.

Great for 1 year then terrible.

Dishwasher is wonderful for about a year. Then the drawers start to rust - LG did replace. another year the LED display goes out. Another year later the pump motor goes out - LG will cover the cost of the motor but not the technician $150 out of pocket. Another year later the machine cannot get through a full cycle. Has issues draining and starts to grow mold in the drain area. Spent HOURS on the phone with LG to try to resolve. LG customer service is abysmal. Multiple promises to call back with approvals/denials for a request for service coverage. Multiple promises to get calls back from presidential liaisons. One callback was received but couldnt answer the phone and the rep immediately closed the case. Buy your TV from LG but never an appliance. If youre dead set on it get the extended warranty. Oh the refrigerator that was also bought with this dishwasher was replaced twice in 2 years

Handwasher at times 2/3/2024

I have owned this since 12/1/19 and the motor went up shortly after buying it. Just ordered new racks because the original ones are rusting. Had a code last week and had to have another motor for the sprayers replaced.

Dishwasher is garbage in 3 years Ive replaced the top control panel 3 sprayer arm controllers and door latch. Lg was 0 help when the dishwasher failed at 6 months old buyers beware of junk products and terrible/nonexistent customer service.

Does all we want and more

For us the most telling testimonial comes from my son Jon. He Loved how quietly it operated and how easy it was to load with its 3rd rack. So he bought a Bosch which is no more quiet and only 2/3 the interior space. We have to run hours at least 10 times a week...works perfectly every time.
